Beta-Lift peel

There are many different types of chemical peels which help the skin restore a youthful appearance. The Beta-Lift (ß-LIFTx®) is one type of peel which was developed by the inventors of Retin-A. Beta-lift peels are light peels, require minimum “down time”, and are an excellent means of preserving the facial skin and alleviating the need for a more invasive procedure. Beta-lift is a salicylic acid peel that lifts unwanted dead, dull surface cells off of the skin. This promotes the development of healthy, new cells to replace those older cells, leaving the skin feeling fresh and vibrant. This type of peel can be used to help treat acne patients because the chemical penetrates into hair follicles and the pores of the skin.

It might be applied three or more times, separated by a few weeks between applications. Each peel may cause some redness and peeling which may last just a few days. This contrasts with other chemical peels which may have noticeable peeling for weeks or even months.

Patients tend to like this peel because the peeling stops quickly. A quote from one of our patients: “I loved the Beta-Lift peel because my face felt smooth afterwards and I only had minimal peeling.  My acne was improved and I feel this is what really helped my complexion improve”.
